Jack's Social Experiment
Since Jack failed the vision test at school he has been concerned about the kids laughing at him if he needed glasses. We assured him that they wouldn't laugh!
He decided to test it out.
At school today he put on a pair of glasses. A pair of funny glasses. He said and I do quote "I wore them just for a test. I took the nose off and wore the glasses to see if the kids would laugh at me as I suspected. I was right."
Would you laugh at this kid, too?
On another note, he checked out with 20/20 vision at the doctor's yesterday. Guess it is funny glasses only for this preschool sociologist.

Bronwyn's Table Manners and Mimicking Talents
Tonight we had dinner at the Mall. Here is Bronwyn proudly displaying her table manners. Watch closely and you will see...foot on the table, face in the food, face in the food part two, throwing food, and a nice dinner tantrum. HA! At the end of the clip, when all gets dark...listen closely. What you are hearing is the art of mimicking...Bronwyn's favorite car game...name that sound!

1. Wish today was letter J (for show and tell). Then I could just bring myself. Cause Im a whole lot of show n tell!
2. After bonking me in the head..."I didn't hit you. I just put my hand on your head Really, REALLY fast."
3. At bedtime..."mom, why do people sign casts? Are they going to be reused? (no). Then I'm not signing Judd's cast. He already knows my name. I'll draw him a picture of a firetruck instead."
4. Jack describing how he wants his room redone..."and we can paint knights and ninjas on the ceiling. Wait..,when I wake in middle of night that will be spooky. Better put them on the closet doors instead. I'll just turn my back to them when dark."
5. "Is it possible to love someone but not like them? (I guess). Then that's how I feel about Bronwyn." (ouch!)
6. "Mom, can you come to my school and tell my teacher I already know all my letters, co ours and how to count to 18. I keep forgetting to tell her." (Jack explaining the boring part of school.)
7. "Do you know what I hate about school? Lunch. I hate the timer Ms Carole turns on. I hear it ticking the whole time and then it always goes off before I am done eating. (why don't you eat faster, then?). Because I NEED to talk...it's part of what makes Jack, Jack!"

Foreshadowing???
Jack came home last week with this piece of art. It is a self portrait.
Not sure what is up with the pig snout. However, anyone notice the GLASSES??? Well, low and behold today I get a note from the Director that he DID NOT PASS the vision screening. We are off to see an ophthalmologist in a week. How did he know??? *insert twilight music*
