1. Wish today was letter J (for show and tell). Then I could just bring myself. Cause Im a whole lot of show n tell!

2. After bonking me in the head..."I didn't hit you. I just put my hand on your head Really, REALLY fast."

3. At bedtime..."mom, why do people sign casts? Are they going to be reused? (no). Then I'm not signing Judd's cast. He already knows my name. I'll draw him a picture of a firetruck instead."

4. Jack describing how he wants his room redone..."and we can paint knights and ninjas on the ceiling. Wait..,when I wake in middle of night that will be spooky. Better put them on the closet doors instead. I'll just turn my back to them when dark."

5. "Is it possible to love someone but not like them? (I guess). Then that's how I feel about Bronwyn." (ouch!)

6. "Mom, can you come to my school and tell my teacher I already know all my letters, co ours and how to count to 18. I keep forgetting to tell her." (Jack explaining the boring part of school.)

7. "Do you know what I hate about school? Lunch. I hate the timer Ms Carole turns on. I hear it ticking the whole time and then it always goes off before I am done eating. (why don't you eat faster, then?). Because I NEED to talk...it's part of what makes Jack, Jack!"

Foreshadowing???

Jack came home last week with this piece of art.  It is a self portrait.

Not sure what is up with the pig snout.  However, anyone notice the GLASSES???  Well, low and behold today I get a note from the Director that he DID NOT PASS the vision screening.  We are off to see an ophthalmologist in a week.  How did he know???  *insert twilight music*

We're Walking, Yes Sir 'ee

Bronwyn is up to about twelve steps.  That isn't a recovery program...that is twelve walking steps.  To celebrate we took her to Stride Rite for a proper shoe fitting.  Not sure this is the advertisement they are looking for, as she stumbled into their bench when trying on the shoes...resulting in her first bloody nose.  Oh my!  Meanwhile, Jack was annoying the sales clerk to no end with his adventuresome spirit.  My favorite was when he announced he found an umbrella and I heard her mutter in that sarcastic tone we are all too familiar with, "Oh good, he found the umbrellas."  I think I will be buying the rest of Bronwyn's shoes online :)

Millie the Millipede

Bronwyn has been practicing first steps for last few weeks.  I know, for those that have seen it...it looks more like falling with style--or just plain falling :)  Her latest is to compensate for a lack of balance by going really, really fast.  Earning her the nickname...Millie the Millipede.

As Heard From...

Bronwyn was handing Jack castle pieces while laying next to his structure. Jack says, "I don't need you to hand me pieces, Bronnie! And I especially don't need you to knock down my castle with your exceptionally large head!"
